Hello again loyal readers and newcomers! We've got week two of the Friday News Fix coming at you right smack in the middle of the day, and we're looking at the best news of the week.

But before we get started, I want to direct your attention to the nifty blue bar just above this article, or to the Hamburger menu at the top right of your mobile phone screen. There's a new option hanging out there called "Headline and Review Requests", and that's your direct path to send in tips, news ideas, and review requests that you'd like to see us tackle. From now on, you'll have the opportunity to submit news articles and if we use your headline, your name will show up next to the headline in the Friday News Fix!

To get things started out right, every valid submission of a headline, news tip, or review request between now and next Thursday, January 28th at 11:59PM CST will be entered in a drawing to win a beta access key for the upcoming game, Chronicle: Runescape Legacy. We've had a chance to play it a bit, and it is a lot of fun even in these early stages! We've got 4 keys to give away in total, and we'll give 2 away on the 29th and 2 more on February 5th!

And now, the news:

The Halo World Championships are going to the X Games

The 2016 Halo World Championship tour is making a stop at the Aspen X Games. The 8 teams have been announced, and will be going at it on Jan 28-31 with a $30,000 prize pool on the line. Watch the action on ESPN3's WatchESPN, Twitch.tv, and MLG.tv.

Smash is coming to ESPN

Speaking of Esports on ESPN (and yes, that IS their official "spelling" of Esports), it looks like they're going to be adding Super Smash Bros. to their coverage lineup soon, joining their current coverage of League of Legends, DOTA2, and Hearthstone.

Spike Chunsoft Games are coming to Steam

After rumors of Danganronpa - Trigger Happy Havok being ported to PC for a steam release leaked back in December, we finally have confirmation that not only is the first game coming to steam, but so is Danganronpa 2, along with other games to be announced at a later date. Since the games were previously only available on the Vita, this comes as a welcome addition to the PC Gaming landscape.

Platinum Games' Turtles Game has Screenshots

In what is certainly the leakiest ship this side of the Titanic, the yet-unannounced Platinum Games' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game now has the first screenshots of the game leaked to go along with the leaked achievement list and the leaked title and rating in Australia. At this point, I'm not sure if this is the worst nightmare for Platinum and Activision's Marketing departments, or the best example of Guerrilla Marketing ever.

The Elder Scrolls: Online is Getting a Thieves Guild DLC

The first major content update of 2016 is coming soon for ESO, adding the legendary Thieves Guild, along with a new zone, skills, dungeons, and more. Developer Zenimax is also enhancing the base game for all players, including improved animations and facial expressions, a 64-bit client for PC and Mac users, and updates to many quests, among others. We gave ESO a shot back in December during a free weekend on the Xbox One, and while it felt like a reasonably good MMO, it was disappointing as an addition to the Elder Scrolls universe. We'll come back to the game after the update to see what the improvements look like.

Playable Star Wars BattleFront 3 Build Leaked

Our last bit of news today comes from a redditor. He's released a playable prototype of the canceled Star Wars Battlefront III that runs on Modded or Development Xbox 360 kits. This is a pretty big deal after Star Wars Battlefront II fans voiced their disappointment in the new Star Wars Battlefront reboot by EA.

Don't forget, we'll be back next week with YOUR suggestions, and to announce a winner for our drawing. Get those submissions in!
